Financial officer
(Redirected from Financial Officer)
Financial officers are people who, in addition to their position's roles, are tasked with managing and approving financial actions of EUS Groups. Usually there are x2 financial officers per group, most commonly the VP Finance and President/chair equivalent; this role could be endowed to anyone, granted it does not contradict the Financial Bylaws or other governing docs.
Financial officers are expected to :
- Maintain the internal records of the group
- Ensure the financial wellbeing of the group
- Approve the groups' Cheque Requisitions
- Approve Internal Transfers
In order to become an official Financial Officer, one must read and retain the Financial Guidebook, sign the approved list of financial officers (held by the EUS VP Finance), and pass a quick quiz annually (if relevant).
