The Civil Engineering Undergraduate Society (CEUS) is a student organization within the Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics. Our purpose is to hold activities and events that promote a sense of community within the Civil Engineering department. The CEUS also works closely with the Engineering Undergraduate Society of McGill. All undergraduate students studying civil engineering automatically become members of the CEUS upon registration.

- Fall and Winter Civil Banquets: Join dozens of your fellow civvies for a night to remember! Start at the pre-banquet gatherings hosted by fellow civvies of your year to get the night going. Then head to a nice restaurant for a great meal and a great atmosphere. Finally, join the other departments for an amazing after-party in one of the best clubs of Montreal! This is definitely a night you do not want to miss!
- Apartment Crawls: Gather 9 of your friends and hop on an adventure in downtown Montreal! You will be visiting up to 10 different apartments hosted by fellow civvies (with a beverage included at most stops as well as some food stops) before heading to an after-party with the other departments!
- Civil Blues Pubs: One of the best Fridays of the year! Come taste a perfect plumber’s pocket with a nice happy hour beverage! Help out by volunteering to get some goodies as well!
- Year Socials: These events are organized by your respective U-Rep and facilitate bonding between Civies in all years! Activities vary from Laser Quest to Ceramic Painting!
- Wings Nights: Join civil at wings night to enjoy 50 cent wings all night! (Free entry with paid food & drink)

Design Teams
Design teams are a huge part of the undergraduate experience. Many civil students join the following clubs here at McGill:
Civil Lounge
The civil lounge is located on the second floor of McDonald Engineering Building (MD291). After entering the front door of McDonald Engineering building, go up to the platform and turn right to the arch doorway. Then you go up the stairs there will be a entrance at halfway between 2nd and 3rd floor. There are signs to guide you. Follow it, come to chill and study.
There are computers, study area, chilling area, some board games, Mario Cart game, and your fellow civil classmates.
