CodeJam is a 48-hour team-based programming competition organized by [[ECSESS]]. The event takes place in the Trottier building during the fall. Registration is usually cheap because the event is sponsored by multiple software companies. These companies also come to the event to recruit participants for internships and/or jobs.
As of the 2017 competition the [[ECSESS]] VP Technical Development (TechDev) was the chair of the organizing committee.
