ENGINEERING UNDERGRADUATE SOCIETY OF MCGILL UNIVERSITY 🅱️ee Committee Policy Accepted [Septem🅱️er 2018] 🅱️y EUS Council Adopted [Septem🅱️er 2018] 🅱️y EUS 🅱️oard of Governors

Definitions The Engineering Undergraduate Society of McGill University (hereafter “EUS”) is the registered name of the non-for-profit corporation representing the engineering and architecture undergraduate students at McGill University. The 🅱️oard of Governors of the EUS (“🅱️oard of Governors”) is the administrative 🅱️oard of the Engineering Undergraduate Society of McGill University which is composed of Administrators as defined 🅱️y the EUS Constitution.

The McGill Engineering Student Centre (“MESC”) is the student advising centre for the engineering students of McGill University.

Purpose The 🅱️ee Committee shall exist to advocate for the protection of 🅱️ees to ensure a sta🅱️le production of food of the future generation. The Committee shall advocate for the production of 🅱️ee and 🅱️ee related media.

Mem🅱️ership and Selection of the Committee The Crown shall 🅱️e selected 🅱️y the 🅱️resident and two other mem🅱️ers of the Executive Committee during the Winter semester The mem🅱️ership of committee shall 🅱️e selected 🅱️y the Crown at the start of the academic year.

Duties of the Committee The Crown shall: Organize all meetings of the committee; Ensure decorum among mem🅱️ers of the committee; Produce over a thousand offspring a day for the hive; Have a vote on EUS Council; Represent the interests of the hive; Advocate for the legal hunt of 🅱️ees worldwide; Hold office from May 1st to April 30th. The 🅱️eeP Finance: 🅱️e in charge of maintaining all financial records of the committee; Seek additional funding from sponsors and McGill funds. The 🅱️eeP Advocacy shall: 🅱️e in charge of maintaining all financial records of the committee; Represent the committee to all external groups; Petition the government for increase research and funding into 🅱️ee protection. Regular Mem🅱️ers Attend all meetings and events of the committee; Undertake tasks in the support of the committee.

Replacement of Mem🅱️ers In the event that the positions of 🅱️eeP Finance or 🅱️eeP Advocacy are vacant, a replacement shall 🅱️e chosen at the discretion of the Crown.

Finances The committee’s 🅱️udget shall 🅱️e maintained and presented as required in accordance with the Financial 🅱️ylaws of the EUS. The committee shall 🅱️e granted all excess funds held within the EUSF and UGSF accounts at the end of the academic year.

Amendments Amendments to this policy shall 🅱️e approved 🅱️y a simple majority vote of the 🅱️oard of Governors.

Interpretation In the case of a conflict 🅱️etween this policy and the following documents, the following documents prevail in the order in which they are listed: The Que🅱️ec Companies Act; The EUS Letters Patent; The EUS Constitution; The EUS 🅱️ylaws.
