Engineering Undergraduate Equipment Fund

The Engineering Undergraduate Equipment Fund (EUGE) is a fund composed of fees paid by Engineering undergraduate students and of other contributions, whose purpose is to provide those students with additional laboratory equipment.


Equipment Fund Committee

The Equipment Fund Committee (EFC​) is a committee of the EUS that normally administers the Equipment Fund.

Membership

The EFC is composed of twenty-seven members, from student departmental representatives to the Chairpeople of the various departments. The makeup is as follows:

  • The Vice President Academic of the EUS (who presides as the chair of EFC)
  • The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering
  • The Chairperson of the Department of Bioengineering.
  • The Chairperson of the Department of Chemical Engineering.
  • The Chairperson of the Department of Civil Engineering.
  • The Chairperson of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • The Chairperson of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
  • The Chairperson of the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering.
  • The Director of Mining Engineering.
  • The Chairperson of the School of Architecture.
  • The President from each department
  • The VP Academic from each department
  • One student representative to deal with proposals for the whole Faculty of Engineering
