The Board of Governors is the governance body maintaining the legal and financial framework of the EUS. The mandate of the Board of Governors includes reviewing EUS Bylaws and Policies, making impactful financial decisions, and undertaking projects which develop the EUS in the long term. Within the Board are 3 subcommittees:
* Holding the execs accountable

1.) Institutional Health - Acts as a steering mechanism for the Board. Responsibilities include review of governance documents, addressing concerns brought by EUS Members or groups, and assessing the impacts of decisions, projects, and ongoing events of the EUS
* Direct oversight of EUS Committees with more than $50,000 in expenses (such as OAP, Frosh, etc.)

2.) Special Projects - Execute projects of diverse scales in order to improve the EUS as a whole. Such projects may resemble those previously taken on by individual Board Members as mandates but will likely be larger in scale
The duration of the term for the Member-at-Large will start on May 1st 2022, until April 30th, 2023.

3.) Finance - Review and manage the fiscal status of the EUS while taking on projects related to the financial dealings of the EUS

Requirements:

- Must be a graduate of McGill Engineering as of May 1, 2022

- Applicants must demonstrate a good understanding of the EUS - ideally having relevant past experience

The EUS is looking to fill up to two Alumni positions on the Board of Governors!

The Board of Governors is the governance body maintaining the legal and financial framework of the EUS. The mandate of the Board of Governors includes reviewing EUS Bylaws and Policies, making impactful financial decisions, and undertaking projects which develop the EUS in the long term.
