CodeJam is the largest hackathon held by the [[Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineering Student Society| ECSESS department ]] at McGill! The event is usually held yearly in November in Trottier building. In the past, CodeJam has attracted 300+ participants from universities across Canada. CodeJam is a great opportunity to network and develop participants’ hacking skills.

The format of the competition was be open-ended with some subcategories that competitors may opt into to win prizes. The main 3 subcategories were Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things and Augmented Reality. [https://codejam2019.devpost.com/ CodeJam 2019Click here to see the winners].

The theme of the event was Digital by Default. Participants created any project and submitted it to the general category, and optionally to the two sponsor prizes.
