That involves tons of unexciting yet highly important meetings, taking up a huge chunk of my schedule. If you are interested in student advocacy, feel free to contact me! The more exciting part of the presidency resolve around three major topics: Equity, Sustainability and Mental Health. These important social matters are addressed by well-established committees and I would encourage you to attend their numerous cool events. Being president is also about leading a team and the seven amazing individuals that form the exec committee are the best colleagues/friends/second family one can hope for. Their experience, dedication and hard work will ensure that you have the time of your life this year! | ||

Letter from President
As President, my primary role is to represent Engineering students to the Engineering Faculty and McGill Administration. That involves tons of unexciting yet highly important meetings, taking up a huge chunk of my schedule. If you are interested in student advocacy, feel free to contact me! Duties
Article 10 of the EUS Constitution covers the duties of the President
10.1 The President shall:
- be charged with the general management and supervision of the affairs of the E.U.S.;
- call and preside at Executive Committee meetings;
- serve as an ex-officio member of all constituted and affiliated committees of the E.U.S.;
- be the official spokesperson for the E.U.S. on all occasions;
- represent the E.U.S. at meetings of the Faculty of Engineering; and
- be responsible for holding the engineering representatives to S.S.M.U. Council and the Engineering Senator accountable to the Engineering student body through E.U.S. council;
- shall be responsible for meeting with Departmental Society Presidents no less than once per month during the fall and winter semesters
- be responsible for the E.U.S. Equity Commissioner; and
- be responsible for the E.U.S. Sustainability Coordinator
