The purpose of the Mental Health Director is to uphold equity on the departmental level and inform their societies and constituents on topics pertaining to mental health and wellness. This position is perfect for you if you are passionate about mental health and improving the knowledge and resources available in the engineering community.

This role includes:

-Promoting positive mental health and wellness practices in the engineering community; -Seeking out and distributing mental health resources; -Attending trainings or workshops to gain experience working with mental health (i.e. crisis intervention, active listening); -Liaising with MESC and other faculty to work on new initiatives and improve faculty's understanding of students' mental health and wellness needs; -Working closely with the VP Student Life.
